Pools & Gardens
The botanical gardens, planted over 30 years ago, feature a variety of mature native hardwoods and boast the largest collection of palms in The Gambia. The native species maintain the floral environment and sustain the exisiting fauna in Gambia's first eco-tourism establishment. This very successful project is verified by the many guests with their amazing holiday shots of birds, monkeys, lizards, and more taken within the hotel.

The pool is fresh water, surrounded on two sides by terraces for sunbathing and on the third by the Bardendengo Poolside bar and terrace. Sun chairs and loungers are free of charge.

The Back Terrace is surrounded by fruit trees and shaded by the broad leafed teak tree and palms. This terrace offers a cool quiet retreat from the sun and is an ideal spot for reading, birdwatching or nature observation.

The Golf Course Terrace over looks the 8th "brown" and the 9th tee. Shaded by a grapevine, great for watching the Saturday tournamnets.
